After studying engineering and economics, José Santucci joined the Crédit Agricole Group over 30 years ago. Following responsibilities in the agricultural, business, and professional markets in Franche Comté, he continued his management career in several regions of France before becoming CEO in 2010. Five years later, he took over the general management of the Regional Bank of Crédit Agricole Provence Côte d’Azur.
