Marie-Pierre Rixain is a graduate of the Institute of Political Studies in Toulouse and Celsa. She also holds a DESS in parliamentary life (Paris II). First elected as a Member of Parliament in June 2017, she was previously an independent public communications consultant working on health networks. She sits on the Social Affairs Committee and chairs the Women’s Rights and Equal Opportunities Delegation. In 2021, it pushed and passed a bill aimed at accelerating economic and occupational equality between women and men, including the introduction of gender quotas in the comex and codir of large French companies.
